Playtime is something Annette does every week, where she arrives at fantastic flavour combinations like sesame and sea salt, citrus peel, and manuka honey brittle. Join Annette for a hands-on playtime session where you'll learn how to temper and make your own treats.
You'll taste Esque's full range of chocolate, and we'll pair a glass of wine to match the flavours. We'll send you home with recipes, your own chocolates, and a beautiful Gaggenau magazine - well satiated and bursting with ideas. Chocolate will never be the same!

The City Market is home to a stunning Gaggenau kitchen in which we will be offering intimate cooking classes with Wellington’s best chefs and food personalities. Hosted by Eat & Greet's Beth Brash, classes will take place in the City Market where you will be surrounded by bustle, bounty, and aromas every second Sunday.
With classes like dumpling making with City Market's own House of Dumplings, Lebanese cooking with Phoenician Falafel, Knife skills and butchery; not one class will be the same.
Classes will be small, so book early. Guests will have the opportunity to listen, learn, ask questions, and most importantly, taste. After 90mins of more reality than you can shake a whisk at, we’ll send you on your way with your belly full and a recipe card so that you can recreate it all again at home. You will be well satiated and bursting with ideas.
