Get creative at the Central City Library Makerspace!

A "makerspace" is a place where people can create, innovate, and collaborate.

Come and experiment with the help of library staff during our free use hours or work with other like minded people, sharing knowledge and working on projects together.

The space is equipped with computers using free open-source software, two 3D printers and robotics kits.  We're open when the library is open!  Make a booking (09 307 7780 or makerspace@aucklandcouncil.govt.nz) or pop in to see if the equipment is available.

3D printing charges are based on how much filament is used. Our printers take .stl files, Spock the Ultimaker can cope with some others.
