Get creative at the Central City Library Makerspace!
A "makerspace" is a place where people can create and innovate.
Come and experiment with the help of library staff during our free use hours or work with other like minded people, sharing knowledge and work on projects together.
The space is equipped with computers using free open-source software, one 3D printer, MakeyMakey kits and a Sphero robot. We're open when the library is open! Make a booking (09 890 2417 or firstname.lastname@example.org) or pop in to see if the equipment is available.
3D printing charges are based on how much filament is used (10 cents per 100mm). Our printer takes .stl files.
