Organizer of Upskill Series
Founded in 2012, Girls Who Code (GWC) is an international nonprofit on a mission to close the gender gap in technology and to change the image of what a programmer looks like and does. GWC is leading the movement to inspire, educate, and equip students who identify as girls or nonbinary with the computing skills needed to pursue 21st-century opportunities.GWC creates opportunities for students to start their computer science journey, continue through the pipeline and enter the tech workforce. GWC has served 500K+ students and over 50% of them are from historically underrepresented groups in tech. We have over 115K college age and workforce ready young people in our community.Through our free programs, we are building the largest and most diverse pipeline of female and nonbinary engineers and will reach gender parity in new entry-level tech jobs by 2030.To join the movement or learn more, visitgirlswhocode.com.
