The International Symposium on In Vivo Body Composition Studies is a prestigious conference dedicated to the development of human body composition methodology and research. This 12th meeting will feature three days of cutting-edge research presentations from leading experts in the field. Join us to explore the latest advancements in the field of human body composition research.

The International Symposium on In Vivo Body Composition Studies is the only reoccurring meeting dedicated to the field of human body composition methodological development and research. Our mission is to bring together experts from around the world to exchange ideas, share knowledge, and advance the field of human body composition research.


Objectives:

  • Dissemination of up-to-date information on new and potential future developments in the field of in vivo human body composition research with clinically relevant and translational end-points;
  • Dissemination of research findings arising from recent scientific investigations that demonstrate the importance and utility of measuring body composition for understanding clinically important questions;
  • Reporting on recent advances in measurement methods, mathematical modeling and applications;
  • Encouragement of young investigators to further the objective of training new investigators in the field.

All people registering as a student must send their student declaration to ISBCR@auckland.ac.nz by 9 February 2025. Faliure to do so could result in paying the difference or cancellation of registration.
