About this event

The Ministry of Education and Using Technology Better (UTB) invite you to a Zoom webinar: How Coaching Models can shift practice, presented by Mark Herring and Karla Sanders, UTB.

Shifting teacher practice is most successful when Kaiako are supported in a personalised, relevant way that creates a clear support plan with accountability built in.

At UTB we use coaching models in a range of ways to support Kaiako to create clear goals supported by our facilitators.

The relationship established ensures that practice, reflection and feedback take place and can be built on in a way that best suits the teacher.

Join us to talk through effective coaching models and how including coaching as part of your PLD approach can lead to better outcomes.

Whether you are developing your Digital Fluency to engage, motivate, differentiate and share learning; building out your Local Curriculum or assessment for learning practices, this webinar shares the impact coaching can have to shift practice in a measurable way.

Feedback from our schools has shown the impact coaching models have had in building teacher confidence and competence¬ and we are excited to share this approach with others

These sessions will be relevant to teachers, leaders, principals, tumuaki, kaiako, PLD Leads, PLD facilitators, PLD provider organisations, and regional office Ministry staff.
