What is Career Fest?
Career Fest is a 3 weeks programme run by MIT Careers and Employment Solutions Team (CES) to help MIT students toward job readiness, the first week will be about running online workshops to help students with CV, CL, job hunting strategies etc. and then followed by self-preparation, Career Consulting support, as well as industry engagement which include meet up with employers to have panel discussion and job fairs.

With the pandemic, many of us might need to shift and explore new career possibilities. Therefore its important to understand and identify the key skills you can bring to the new role and that will help you stand out in the crowd. This workshop will introduce you various ways of identifying and validating your transferrable skills. We will also walk you through some exercises to help you identify your skills. So just bring your pen and paper and join us!
It will be delivered by MIT Career Consultant Ciao Chen.
Ciao Chen is a trained and ICF registered Career Coach & Consultant (ACC Level), she has worked with people aged 16-63 to explore, design and build a fulfilling career journey that they enjoy. She works with people who wish to know more about themselves and gain clarity about their career. She also supports with job hunting strategies, CV, Cover Letters, interview skills and confidence building.
