About this event
One picture, one prop, two minutes.
2 Minute Talks: Young Women in Science is a community celebration of the talented young female scientists working and studying in Dunedin. Now in its fourth year, this event was specifically created for the New Zealand International Science Festival, to give young women a platform to talk about their science. Presenters are given the challenge of turning their complex ideas into a two-minute talk that everyone can understand.
It is sure to be an interesting, inspiring and fun-filled evening! There will be an opportunity after the talks for drinks, nibbles and networking with like-minded people.
Please Note: This event has a tiered ticketing system. In the event of a change to COVID-19 Alert Level 2 for Dunedin on the event’s date, only Tier 1 ticketholders will be allowed to attend. All Tier 2 ticketholders will be granted a full refund. This system will ensure that we can maintain appropriate social distancing at Alert Level 2.
This event is part of the 2021 New Zealand International Science Festival. For the full event schedule, visit scifest.org.nz
