Brexit and the Future of English Law
In this public event The Rt Hon Sir David Lloyd Jones will give us his reflections on what English law might look like after Brexit.

Lord Justice Lloyd Jones is a member of the Court of Appeal of England and Wales and a former Chairman of the Law Commission. He was educated at Pontypridd Boys’ Grammar School and Downing College, Cambridge. He was a Fellow of Downing College from 1975 to 1991, and a Junior Crown Counsel (Common Law) from 1997 to 1999 when he was appointed Queen’s Counsel. He was a Recorder on the Wales and Chester Circuit from 1990 to 2005, and appointed a High Court Judge of the Queen’s Bench Division in October 2005.

From 2008 to 2011 he was Presiding Judge of Wales and Chair of the Lord Chancellor’s Standing Committee on the Welsh Language. In 2012 he was appointed Chairman of the Law Commission and a Lord Justice of Appeal.
