The 99th Booksellers Aotearoa NZ conference will be held at the Park Hyatt in Auckland on 30 & 31 July.

About this event

After two years of Covid cancelations we are finally - for real - getting together to talk to fellow book industry professionals about the state of the sector and to brainstorm some ideas for the future. We will also be celebrating the 2021 centenary of Booksellers Aotearoa and handing out the annual Book Industry Awards.

Please Note: In order not inconvenience publishers who will be attending Trade Day and their own conference on Monday 1 August, Trade Day is the Sunday 31 July (not the usual Saturday). The Booksellers NZ Inc. AGM will be at 4.30pm on Saturday 30 July.

Here is the programme for the 2022 Booksellers Conference as it currently stands. A full programme including details of all speakers and locations will be issued next week.
