A wonderful winter dinner feast showcasing a multitude of products from stall holders from The Christchurch Farmers' Market.

About this event

Take a 'wander ' through the Christchurch Farmers' Market via the luxe setting in Riccarton House. The market is on the doorstep of this beauty of a house every Saturday so instead of eating outside in the market come and relax for a night inside and enjoy a feast with friends ! Then hit the market the next day and fill your new market shopping bag.

This dinner is aimed at groups of friends or family or work colleagues. We have a min of 10 pax required for a dinner and a max of 40 pax per night. A min of 10 tickets must be purchased in one order for the night to go ahead. Once that booking has been confirmed the night is exclusively yours. You can add extra guests until 3 days before the dinner date.



  • Gin Cocktail with tonic from Tonic Merchant ( or non alcoholic alternative)
  • Crispy Dumplings dumplings
  • On your chair a CFM shopping bag and CFM tea towel
  • Le Panier, Grizzly and Bellbird Bakery breads, Emilio's cheese, Cured Salami, Volcano cured olives, Robinsons Bay Olive Oil and Spice Craft hummus ( GF on request)
  • Streamside organic autumn vegetable salad with Jens Chozina Chat Masala spices ( DF and GF)
  • Butchers Mistress Slow braised beef cheek with Little Bone Broth , Wigram stout onion jus, confit Garden Garlic Streamside layered potatoes, Parans Autumn herb salsa verde ( GF and DF)
  • ( Vegetarian dish on request) Feed the Soul Pasta with roasted cauliflower gratin & Canterbury Cheesemonger Parmesan
  • Chai spiced Ashley River Apple and Mumma Bear Crumble, Kimbella nut brittle & Loburn Grove Hazelnuts praline and Alis Lemon curd ( GF on request)
  • Canterbury Cheese Monger cheese and Adelphi Chocolate & Bona Italia Petit Fours, with Herrick Creek Whisky ( GF on request)

Booking details:

Please arrive in time for your booking. You will have a 4.5 hour use of the space to enjoy.

Tickets are $150 pp ( plus booking fees) and we have a min of 10 pax and a maximum of 40 pax required for each night

Bookings must be made minimum10 days in advance .

Arrival drinks and finale drinks are included and other drinks can be purchased from the menu on the night.

Additional guests are not able to be added on the day unfortunately.

The menu is subject to change at any time. The meal is catered for vegetarian diets but please enquire first if you have other dietary requirements.

As we have limited dates available requests for refunds or changes must be made within 7 days on the event date.
