5th International Conference on Sustainable Development and Green Buildings (ICSDGB 2021) will be held in Yangzhou, China during Mar. 19-21, 2021, in conjunction with 5th International Conference on Environmental and Energy Engineering (IC3E 2021). ICSDGB 2021 is organized by Asia Pacific Institute of Science and Engineering(APISE). ICSDGB 2017 & 2018 & 2019 & 2020 were successfully held in Suzhou, Xiamen, Shanghai & Sanya respectively. We believe that ICSDGB 2021 will be more attractive and meaningful. This conference is a platform for researchers, engineers, academicians as well as industrial professionals from all over the world to present their research results and development activities in Sustainable Development and Green Buildings. This conference provides opportunities for the delegates to exchange new ideas and application experiences face to face, to establish business or research relations and to find global partners for future collaboration. We sincerely invite all the researchers, scholars, engineers, students and people are in interested in these areas to take part in ICSDGB 2021.

●Publication and Indexing

1. All the accepted papers will be included in the volume of conference proceedings, which will be submitted to Engineering Village, Scopus, Thomson Reuters (WoS) and other databases for review and indexing.

2. Selected papers with great extension will be recommended to publish in Journal of Environmental Informatics Letters.

●Speaker

Prof. Julian Scott Yeomans,York University, Canada

Julian Scott Yeomans is a Professor of Operations Management and Information Systems at York University’s Schulich School of Business in Toronto, Canada. He holds degrees in management science/information systems, environmental engineering, and statistics. He generally teaches courses on VBA programming, business analytics, and spreadsheet-based decision support systems. He has published 5 books (including 3 on incorporating climate change uncertainties into environmental assessments) and over 125 peer-reviewed, academic journal articles on a wide spectrum of topics. His most recent research has focused on the applications of different combinations of simulation-optimization, machine learning, visual analytics, population-based metaheuristics, and modelling-to-generate-alternatives. Current application areas of these methods include environmental informatics, waste management, empirical finance, and the optimal osmotic dehydration of fruits, vegetables, and fungi.

Dr. David Z. Zhu,University of Alberta, Canada

Dr. David Zhu is a Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Alberta, Canada where he has been a faculty member since 1997. He is a Fellow of Canadian Academy of Engineering, the Canada’s NSERC Industrial Research Chair in Urban Drainage. His research focuses on sustainable hydropower power and sustainable urban drainage. He has published over two hundred SCI journal papers. Dr. Zhu received a number of national and international awards for his research work: including CSCE Dagenais Award for outstanding contributions in hydrotechnical engineering in Canada, ASCE 2017 Samuel Arnold Greeley Award, and 2018 Karl Emil Hilgard Prize. Dr.

Prof. Yongping Li,Beijing Normal University, China

Yongping Li is a Professor at Beijing Normal University, China. She receives her MSc and PhD Degrees from the University of Regina, Canada. Her research interests involve in energy and environmental systems analysis, environmental pollution control, water resources management, and decision making under uncertainty. Since 2005, Li has led or involved in over 50 energy- and environment-related research projects supported by industrial, governmental and international organizations. She has produced over 320 peer-refereed international journal papers (with an SCI-based H-index of 40 in Science Citation Index under Thomson Reuters’ Web of Science), and supervised over 60 Master/PhD students. She has been continuously selected as a highly cited scholar in the field of “environmental science” (by Elsevier) since 2013.
