About this event
You know those days where…
- Your shoulders are up around your ears before you’ve even opened your laptop.
- You’ve read the same sentence three times and still can’t remember what it said.
- You’ve “snapped” over something small and then spent the rest of the afternoon wishing you hadn’t.
- Even sitting on the couch feels like your mind is still sprinting laps.
Yeah. Those days.
Let's be real, a sound bath isn’t going to “fix” life. But it will give your body and brain the rest and reset they’ve been begging youfor. And it will give you the safe space and permission to slow down, breathe and stop bracing.
So, what’s a sound bath?
It’s not a bath. No water. No floaties required.Just you, lying down (or sitting if that’s more comfortable), while carefully chosen sounds and vibrations of 432hz singing bowls and other instruments work with your nervous system to bring you into a calmer, more regulated state.
Think of it like:
- Shutting down all the open tabs in your brain.
- Turning the volume down on constant background tension.
- Letting your body remember what “rest” actually feels like.
- An internal massage for the mind and body.
Why it works
This isn’t “woo.” It's science.Sound and vibration can literally shift your brainwave state, slow your heart rate, and help your muscles release stored tension. It’s science, wrapped up in an hour of not having to do anything.
When your nervous system gets this reset, the benefits spill into your everyday life:
- You notice you’re less reactive in conversations, so you're relationships begin to feel less strained.
- Sleep comes easier and deeper.
- That “tight in the chest” and "clenched jaw" feeling loosens.
- You can focus without feeling like you’re wading through mud.
How the session flows
Arrive - No experience or prep needed. Wear whatever’s comfortable.
Settle in - I’ll guide you every step of the way.
Sound immersion - You’ll be taken through 60 minutes of somatic grounding and carefully layered sounds, guiding your body and brain into rest.
Come back - I’ll gently bring you out of the session so you leave grounded, not spaced out.
You’ll be guided the whole way by me, a mind-body coach with a slight (understatement) obsession with the nervous system. This is your time. You don’t have to “get it right.” You just have to get in the room and be.
Who this is for
- You want a way to downshift without adding another “should” to your to-do list.
- You’ve been curious about sound baths but don’t vibe with the woo-woo, incense-heavy, overly mystical approach.
- You’re carrying stress or tension you can’t just “talk yourself out of.”
- You want a space where you can truly switch off.
What to bring
Please bring a water bottle and blanket, or anything else that will make you really comfortable while lying down! With these coler months, please wear warm comfortable clothing - this makes a huge difference. Mats, bolsters and limited blankets available in studio.

Frequently asked questions
Please wear comfy clothes and bring a blanket and water bottle. We have props at the studio so no need to bring your own mat unless you want to. Bring along anything else that help you feel comfortable - some like to have an eye pillow.
There are no refunds, however with 24hr notice, you can use your ticket as credit for a future event. Alternatively, you can gift your ticket to someone else - please contact me if you are doing this.
Not at all - you will be guided every step of the way. The only thing you need to do is show up as you are.
The easiest way I can explain it is you'll find Kanuka Yoga in the carpark at the back of Pizza Hut.
