Hi, I'm Bruce Cotterill,

I’m often asked to share how I created such a shift at Colliers in such a short period of time. As a result of that success, I have worked with the real estate industry ever since, and in doing I like to share the best tips, tools and ideas that I believe are critical to success in real estate sales.

The one thing that continues to strike me most is how it's the simple stuff that always makes the greatest difference. It's the simple stuff that's easy to communicate, and quick and inexpensive to implement that genuinely works. It's the simple stuff that's either not done, or not done well that gets in the way of success. And it's the simple stuff that's almost always under-valued and overlooked. And yet, in my experience, most agents don’t do the simple things well.

The reality is that real estate is a difficult business. Despite the very best of intentions, most sales people "fail" - and the reasons they fail are generally poorly directed activity (they don't know what to do), and inadequate management support.

You see, if you're like most real estate agents you're probably spending hours doing work that doesn't really make much of a difference, and you're probably not doing the seemingly trivial stuff that does. You may have mastered the technical aspects of your job, and possibly even been exposed to sales techniques and tools that feel a little contrived and "off".

In this one day programme, I cut through the clutter to help you get very clear on the simple changes you can make. Changes that, when applied consistently and deliberately, will bring added focus and enable you to get to where you want to go - almost regardless of market conditions.

Develop clarity around what you're trying to achieve and the daily habits and disciplines that will get you there, without compromising the relationships that are important to you.

- The 8 things every client wants.

- How to balance the job, the kids, the wife/husband, and you.

Plus... you will leave with:

* your own annual real estate agent master plan;

* my pipeline calculator that enables you to manage your cash flow;

* new disciplines such as the weekly activity report;

* your own personalised "to do" list.

At 5pm we'll put our workbooks away, and share a happy hour until 6pm. This provides time for us to meet and mingle with each other in a relaxed and friendly environment, and continue the discussions of the day.

Knowledge without action won't get you where you want to go. That's why we'll ask you for your action plan, and include a 30 and 60 day personal follow up with you by phone to see how you're going with your personal "to do" list, and to offer additional help if required.
