That is why we have decided to join forces, and put on a FREE seminar specifically for first home buyers, which will help you understand the buying process much better.

Your Speakers

Emma van der Kley - After successfully completing a Bachelor of Arts Majoring in Psychology and Political Science and a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Canterbury in 2013, Emma joined the Kannangara Thomson team in April 2014. In October 2014 Emma was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand.

Wathsala Ponnamperuma - Wathsala grew up in Christchurch and completed her Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of Canterbury. She was admitted to the bar in September 2013. Wathsala was attracted to Kannangara Thomson’s diverse client base and the support she has received from the other solicitors has made for a positive start to her career. She is mainly working in the areas of conveyancing.

Scott Miller has been a property investor for over fifteen years, and his love of property lead him to forming Advanced Mortgage Solutions in 2008. Scott specialises in all aspects of mortgage related products, but particularly loves providing advice for those who are wanting to enter the property market for the first time, and his knowledge of how the industry works is impressive.


Kyle Pitman - Real Estate has been the focus of Kyle’s professional pursuits since the mid-90’s. He embarked on a career as a professional Real Estate sales agent in Brisbane, Australia – quickly becoming recognised as a leader in his field.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Parking is available at Harcourts 98 Moorhouse Ave but this is limited so arrive early. More parking is available in the surrounding streets.


What can/can't I bring to the event?

Please bring a pen and some paper to write on, as there is a lot useful content covered in this seminar presentation. No recording of the event is allowed.
