About this Event

First look preview of A Living Culture.

A sustainable fashion documentary coming from the minds of Ben Dickens and Mason Rudd.

This is short documentary with funk, fashion and noise, with intimate stories from students and artisans from NZ and India pursuing a responsible fashion future.

All proceeds from the tickets will go towards the distribution of the film next year via film festivals and music licensing.

Doors open at 6pm. The event will begin at 6.30pm with an opening speaker. At 7pm we will have the first screening at The Pit, and following a Q&A with the filmmakers and then one last screening afterwards.

This has been made with the help of Education NZ and Massey University. With thanks to the National Institute of Fashion Technology and the Indian Institute Of Crafts & Design.

The event will have light refreshments thanks to Hakanoa, Rutherford and Meyer, 180 Degree Crackers and Fix and Fogg.
