Description

Want to write about the arts? Faced with the challenge of writing short, pithy reviews, but not sure where to start? Join us for a practical arts writing workshop crafted for Waikato creatives.

Creative Waikato and Wintec's RAMP Gallery are delighted to bring The Pantograph Punch to Hamilton to deliver a comprehensive arts writing workshop.

Led by Lana Lopesi (Kaiwāwāhi Ahurei | Editor-in-Chief) and Lucinda Bennett (Kaiwāwāhi Mahi Toi | Visual Arts Editor), this three-hour workshop will cover some of the key issues facing arts writers today;

  • how to shift your writing style across different forms and audiences while maintaining a voice

  • how to write response(ibly)

  • how to manage relationships with stakeholders - ranging from your editor to the artist to the reader.

This workshop is free to attend but registration is mandatory - book now to secure your space
