Event description
Regenerating the Port and reimagining Wellington’s Waterfront

About this Event

CentrePort and Wellington have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to regenerate the city’s port and redefine the waterfront following the second largest insurance finalisation in New Zealand’s history of $667 million.

The 2016 Kaikoura earthquake claims have provided a catalyst for change. CentrePort’s CEO Derek Nind can now outline not only changes already underway, but concepts that will redefine the interface between port and city.

As our guest speaker, Derek will be presenting CentrePort’s plan, looking at the Port’s ‘shovel ready’ infrastructure projects and sparking conversation with Wellington businesses about future waterfront opportunities.

Register now to hear more about these exciting developments for our city - to actually get Wellington moving.
