About this event
Research over the last 20 years has shown the endocannabinoid system to be highly effective at supporting many different chronic and complex health conditions. However access to cannabis oils in New Zealand is limited to prescription only and often with high price tags. So what is the alternative?
The native Peruvian people of the high Andes have used their sacred plant known as 'la maca' to build strength and resilience to stress and bring balance back to the body. Novel research here in New Zealand at Victoria University led by Seleno Health has shown that these effects of maca are to do with unique molecules known as macamides and macaenes. These molecules act as indirect cannabinoids to create plant based cannabinoid entourage. They have since developed a range of therapeutic formulas from Maca to support a range of different health conditions.
In this workshop we explain all about the endocannabinoid system (ECS), how it works and how you can use different maca formulations to support many different complex and chronic health conditions or combine with cannabis for more synergy. From mental health, chronic fatigue, fibro, auto-immunity, pain, stress, hormonal imbalances, immunity and much more.
