This event is part of Auckland Council Libraries' We Read Auckland | Ka Pānui Tātau i Tāmaki Makaurau, jointly hosted by Titirangi Library and Arataki Visitor Centre.

About the author: Annette Lees is a Waitākere-based writer and nature enthusiast. She holds an MSc in Protected Landscape Management, a BSc in Ecology and has published three non-fiction books about people and nature, most recently After Dark: Walking into the nights of Aotearoa, which has been longlisted for the 2022 Ockham NZ Book Awards.
