📚 The Homework Hub – Free Weekly Support for Students

Struggling with schoolwork or just need a quiet space to study? DreamCatchers WorldWide invites children and young people to join The Homework Hub – a friendly, supportive space to get help with homework, stay on top of school projects, and boost learning confidence.

🗓 When: Wednesdays 4–5:30 PM, during term time📍 Where: Wesley Community Centre, Auckland (Timohina Room)💸 Cost: FREE

What to Expect:

✅ One-on-one or small group homework help✅ Support in literacy, numeracy, and general subjects✅ Access to stationery, printed resources, and Wi-Fi✅ A calm, quiet environment to focus and learn✅ Encouraging volunteers and mentors

Frequently asked questions

What ages can come along?

We encourage students from intermediate and secondary to join. No children below the age of 5 years old please.

Can a parent/guardian stay in the class?

For the majority of students, we would prefer if all parents and guardians remained outside to allow the academic lead and volunteers to support the young people.

Do you have laptops or devices for us to use?

We don't provide laptops and encourage students to bring their devices, tablets or laptops to complete any school work. We do provide paper,pens and worksheets.

Who will be there to help students study?

Our resident academic lead, Graham, will be there every week who will be joined by different volunteers each week who have all passed a NZ Police Check, Safeguarding Training and Role Training as well as a 1-2-1 interview. We hope you have a great time!
