As countries around the world consider the best way to protect population health in the future, most answers won’t be found in hospitals or physicians’ offices. Instead, says Professor King, healthcare will focus on our food, water and communities.
Professor King is the John and Marylyn Mayo Chair in Health Law. Her research focuses on the ways the law affects people’s health and access to affordable and equitable healthcare. In this talk, she will explore the intersection of individual and environmental health and the potential for healthcare to shift from the hospital out into the world.
This event will also be an excellent opportunity to catch up on the latest University news and network with other alumni in an informal and relaxed way.
Canapés and drinks will be served.
