3cat.my is Malaysia’s fastest-growing retailer for pre-owned electronics, now with 21 stores nationwide and backed by leading global investors. He holds a BCom/LLB from the University of Auckland and an MBA from the University of Oxford.

Karl’s international career spans New Zealand, China, Africa, and Southeast Asia. He began as a lawyer with Simpson Grierson in Auckland before becoming a serial entrepreneur. In Africa, he co-founded one of the region’s largest e-commerce platforms, later acquired by Naspers. In Asia, he founded ServisHero, Southeast Asia’s leading on-demand home services app, and held senior roles with Bukalapak and Groupon China.

Passionate about building sustainable, tech-enabled businesses, Karl also mentors the next generation of entrepreneurs.
