Alumni for Alumni: Los Angeles Stories

Join fellow alumni to hear from LA-based, Law and Arts alumna Nadine Levitt – Founder and CEO of start-up music education platform Wurrly and professional opera singer and songwriter. From being admitted to the Bar in Auckland to a chance meeting in an LA bar which resulted in her singing the US national anthem to 15,000 people at Madison Square Garden, Nadine will share her creative journey in a fireside chat with Director of Alumni Relations and Development Mark Bentley.
This is the first Los Angeles Stories event in our “Alumni for Alumni” series to hit LA, where you can hear first-hand from fellow Auckland graduates creating ripples in the world. Don’t miss your chance to get an insight from a leading tech innovator! You will also have a chance to record your own track using the Wurrly App.

• Cost: Free

• Parking: Parking is available from 6pm onwards in the parking lot directly behind the building, on a first come, first served basis. The parking lot can be accessed from side streets McClellan Drive or Wellesley Ave. If the parking lot is full when you arrive, there is metered parking on Wilshire Blvd or free parking on Wellesley Ave opposite the building, south of Wilshire. Lastly, if you’re willing to walk a minute or two, there is also free parking on McClellan Drive, north of Wilshire after 6pm (go past building and parking lot and follow road around to the right where it hits Wellesley).

• Building Access: Access to the foyer of the building can be gained either from the parking lot at the rear or via the glass doors at the front of the building on Wilshire Blvd. The rear and front doors will be locked but there will be a security guard on duty to let you in when you arrive, so just knock on the doors! The guard will send you up on the elevator to Wurrly’s space on the 3rd Floor. The Suite Number is 302
