Presenter:   Simon Parsons, Barrister and Solicitor, Opie and Dron

This session will provide an introductory overview of District Court criminal law and criminal law processes relevant to community workers and those they work with. 


What We'll Be Doing

Rights & Rules are short one hour seminars on everyday legal topics. The format of the seminar is dependent the speaker.  Most seminars are relatively informal and allow for attendee questions.


Who Is It For

Rights & Rules seminars are aimed at community and social service workers, but open to anyone.   The aim is to inform these workers to better assist their clients. Registration is appreciated.


What to Bring

Pen and paper is recommended.   

You are welcome to bring your lunch.   Tea and coffee are provided.
