This is a facilitated online course.

Webinar one: What dyslexia is
4 November, 12.00-1.00pm

Webinar two: What the institution should do
18 November, 12.00-1.00pm

Webinar three: What the individual should do
2 December, 12.00-1.00pm

During this course you will explore the latest developments in neuro-diversity to understand how dyslexia fits within a wider spectrum of neuro-diverse conditions. Dyscalculia and Irlen’s are also discussed. You will also examine how people exhibit a combination of these conditions and how to work constructively with these learners.

By the end of the course you will be able to create resources and other written material that is sensitive to the needs of dyslexic learners. You will also be able to understand and work with the positive features of dyslexia as well as the challenges to become a more inclusive educator.
