YOUR FACILITATOR IS KAYLA WILLIS

Kayla found mindfulness and yoga many years ago at High School. Back then, she thought it was an excuse to wear patterned tights, nail fancy poses, and get a sweat on.

The truth of what yoga and mindfulness really is came to Kayla after she became a mother when overwhelm, exhaustion, and a touch of postpartum depression were at the forefront of her being. Through Yoga and Mindfulness Meditation, Kayla found significant emotional strength and resilience. The practices grounded her and highlighted that to take care of others started with taking care of herself.

Kayla has completed her formal education with a Bachelors of Sport Science and Human Performance, enriching her knowledge and understanding of the body, brain, and fundamentals of human performance.

Integrative and complementary practices soon became my passion and Kayla now works from a more holistic model of health and wellbeing. Yoga and mindfulness is an integral part of this model. She furthered mher education starting with a 200 hour certification in Hatha Vinyasa Yoga, followed by a Pre & Postnatal Yoga Certification.

Kayla’s most recent certification is as a Subtle® Yoga Teacher (where slow, mindful practices balancing the Nervous System are the primary goal) holds the framework for much of how she teaches and lives at present.
