Michael Hempseed Bio:
Michael Hempseed is a highly sought after professional speaker. Michael gained an honours degree in psychology from the University of Canterbury in 2008. He has delivered more than 80 inspiring and informative seminars over the last two years, on such diverse topics as overcoming failure, mental illness and the teenage brain. Funny, full of enthusiasm and taking a genuine interest in people are all qualities that make Michael a captivating speaker. Michael is also is the author of the book Being A True Hero: Understanding and Preventing Suicide in Your Community, this is used by the New Zealand Police. Michael has spoken extensively throughout New Zealand to a wide and varied range of audiences, such as Fonterra, NZ Post and the New Zealand Defence Force medics and many parents and teachers. In 2019 he delivered almost 200 seminars throughout NZ.
Although he speaks on “dark topics” the participants at his seminars say they walk away feeling inspired and hopeful.
