A 2-day immersion into all things "systems" related
Over 1,500 people have participated in our systems workshops over the last 10 years, all being run as in-house capability or leadership development. This will be our first ever 'open workshop', allowing participants to join without needing a complete cohort from their organisation.
With close to 40-years of deep immersion in systems, systems psychology and complexity we are the foremost systems-thinking pracitioners and specialists in Asia Pacific.
Our Thinking in Systems Introduction is an immersive workshop that takes you through the background of systems, how we think about them, how our brains work in relation to complexity, designing systems, and ways to understand our blindspots and biases.
Participants also have an opportunity to experience MIT's powerful business-system simulation, with Stravaig being the only certified organisation in Asia Pacific to teach this.
During the workshop, where appropriate, we will use examples from participants to use and explore, which aids the learning and practice assimilation.
Venue
We will host the workshop in Mac's Waterfront room - one of the best venues in Wellington with great harbour views, and a walk downstairs for a post-workshop beer if that's your thing.

Substitutions can be made up to the day of the event, but not during.
Cancellations can be made up to 30-days in advance. After 30-day, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged. Within 7-days, a 100% fee will be charged. Any cancellations will be charged the EventBrite admin fee, eg this fee will NOT be refunded and will be deducted before any refund is made.
Primarily for participant experience and learning.
If we are over-subscribed, we will create a waitlist. When the minimum number of participants is reached (20), we will schedule another workshop.
Catering is handled by our venue provider - so the ability to cater for specific requirements will be down to them. They are a well known event organiser, so should be able to handle most requests with sufficient notice.
We have an early bird discount, but not anything additional for groups. If you are interested in an in-house programme, please get in touch.
Actually, no. The programme builds over the 2-days, so dropping in (or out) will impact your own learning, and also that of other participants. We do ask that you commit to attending both days.
