Looking for a fun and unique activity for a wintery Saturday afternoon in Wellington? Come and try your hand at indoor archery target shooting with Wellington Archery Combat at Victoria University!
Whether you're a total beginner or a seasoned pro, we’ve got a bow with your name on it. Grab your friends, bring the whānau, or come solo and join the fun. No experience needed — just turn up with your enthusiasm and we’ll take care of the rest!
💰 Cost: $10 per person for a quick 15 min shoot or $20 for the full 30 min session.
⏱️ Sessions: This is a fundraising event for our Archery club. It will be open to the public from 3.30pm to 4pm.

🎯 Safe for all ages – our foam-tipped arrows mean everyone can have a go.
We’ll show you the ropes if you’re new to archery, and we have a range of bows to suit all skill levels.
Feeling competitive? Challenge your mates for bragging rights or just enjoy the satisfaction of hitting the target.
Want more time on the range? Please spread the word. Every ticket purchased helps our club immensely, and will support us in making these archery events a more regular occurrence for the community.

Yes please. We have limited spaces so please pay to reserve your slot(s).
Yes. We have bows suitable for children but please supervise any children under 14.
Yes. We're trying to raise money for the Club so every ticket helps us immensely. We have the option of $10 for a quick 15 min shoot or $20 for the entire 30 min session.
No. Just your enthusiasm :)
We do need to prioritise ticket sales first, but if there are extra slots available on the day then we will allow cash payments.
The Boyd Wilson Arena is within the Victoria University of Wellington campus in Kelburn, accessible at the bottom of Waiteata Road.
We need bookings beforehand to ensure we have enough slots for everyone. Whilst we may allow door sales at out discretion, this will only be in the event that we have spaces available.
