Come along to our athletic scholarship seminar In Dunedin to find out how you can unleash your potential on the world stage! You’ll get exclusive information on how to apply to US universities on a sports scholarship, and hear from speakers who have experienced first-hand life as a US college student-athlete.

We will cover the following:

- How to make your athletic scholarship application stand out
- Timeline for US university applications
- US athletic scholarships and funding

Tessa Berger
Head Athletic Consultant
Tessa is an Epsom Girls Grammar School graduate and attended Florida Gulf Coast University on a Division I full athletic scholarship, studying majors in business management and accounting with a concentration in entrepreneurship. She earned a perfect 4.0 grade point average, gaining prestigious Presidents List honours. Tessa has represented New Zealand on the international stage for the past decade in her chosen sport of football. Most notably, she competed in the FIFA Women's World Cup and received the honour of being named ASB Bank Young Sportsperson of the Year in 2011. An entrepreneur, Tessa established her latest business venture, The Merchandise Collective, a merchandising enterprise distributing New Zealand made clothing and apparel worldwide. She currently serves as President of Mahurangi Action Incorporated, a 40 year-old environmental organisation, and is the Chairperson and one of six trustees formally consented to serve on the Mahurangi Coastal Trail Trust. Most recently, at 21 years-old, Tessa stood as an independent candidate in the 2016 Local Body Elections. She was successfully elected to Auckland Council, serving the Rodney Ward.

Bryan Moore
Head Athletic Consultant
Bryan is from Baltimore, Maryland and graduated from Harvard University in 2016 having studied both Economics and Psychology. Bryan was a goaltender on the Harvard men’s lacrosse team where he enjoyed significant personal success. Statistically, he was the second highest in saves per minute in all of NCAA Division I Lacrosse and earned All-Ivy League recognition. His team won Harvard’s 4th Ivy League Championship and the school’s first in 14 years. Bryan moved to Auckland in mid-2017 after working in the tech start-up world in the United States. An avid traveller, Bryan is thrilled to have such a unique opportunity to explore this new corner of the world.
