Event description
VIRTUAL EVENT Mental fitness and the ‘resilience’ backlash - How can we frame our messaging to fit

About this event

Resilience, among other terms like stress management and reducing distress are starting to face a backlash as organisations mature. Language can sometimes be limiting to how organisations outside of HR professionals and Psychologists understand psychological interventions, training and development. Business Psychologists Bridget Jelley and Jay Barrett want to invite us to challenge the status quo of words we use to take the full opportunities of training and development in how we work. Far from boring, the workshop will provide interactive examples and strategies to challenge how we pitch training, and frame it to organisations for the purpose of maximising how we can support our people. Who knows, maybe we’ll be able to have a laugh on the way.

This event will be held online via Zoom. A joining link will be sent the day prior to the event.
