Bachelor of Education (Teaching) Primary: SKYPE Interviews

Please be advised that it is very important that two referee reports must be received prior to interview.

It is also important that you complete a school visit prior to interview. You will have been advised about this when you made your application.

A discussion of your experience of the school visit is a core component of your interview. There is no set requirement for how long a school visit should be as long as you feel you will able to reflect on your experience.

Please also remember that during the Skype interview session, even if you are overseas/out of Auckland, you will still need to bring with you a passport or original birth certificate AND drivers licence or 18+ card for identification and present it to the interviewer to enable you to complete the New Zealand Police vetting consent form with you to the interview.

Applicants will be assessed on their knowledge and awareness of Education issues in New Zealand, as well as personal attributes considered by the Faculty to be important for those wishing to pursue teaching.
