Event description
In-person half-day LAN event at AUT with global experts in the Leadership Development and AI space

About this Event

Hear about the latest in leadership development research, developments in AI and the emerging role it's having in the leadership and coaching space. With a global team of experts lined up for an insight packed half day, it's our usual Leadership Action DIY method with a twist! We're positioned to positively disrupt this space as we move into 2021 and we'd love for you to be along for the journey.

Here's what the LAN is set to look like:

Diagnose:

  • Mark Watkins, VP of Sales & Delivery at JumpShift will explore the highs and lows of a leadership journey, and invite you to do the same using a powerful leadership line tool.
  • A deep dive into the foreseeable challenges of the future to enrich the diagnose phase of our DIY approach.

Inspiration from some of the best leadership practitioners in the world. Discover and explore in a highly interactive, engaging and reflective JumpShift workshop style:

  • The future of leadership development with CEO of JumpShift, Carl Sanders-Edwards joining us in-person to share why this is so critical in an evolving VUCA world.
  • How to leverage strengths to ensure you can provide high impact and relevant development for leaders for the next decade.
  • Nick Petrie, Leadership Practitioner (in-person) and Matthew Murphy, VP of Customer Success at Adeption (virtually) will join us to share the growth of the Vertical Mindset Indicator assessment and how it has been made accessible through innovations in AI automation via Adeption.
  • Betsy Leatherman, President of Full Circle Group, joins us virtually from the US to share their research on leadership mastery. Over 800,000 Full Circle Profiles have been completed around the globe. A relevant piece for all leaders, especially enterprise leaders looking to scale their leadership.
  • Carl along with Lucy Hogarth, GM of Leadership Experience at Fonterra (in-person) will share insights on redefining blended learning. Its not about in-person and technology but rather asynchronous & synchronous development that we need to design and deliver.
  • Amol Deshpande (CTO, Adeption) & Darshan Doshi (Director, Adeption) join us virtually from our India Adeption team to walk us through the AI innovations that are shaping the future of learning.
  • Don McVeigh, Director of JumpShift (in-person) will share insights into the coaching space and how this aims to offer the everyday person a chance to experience the magic of coaching.

Your Action

  • Don will work with you to reflect on your own strengths as we have, and how to leverage them to move forward effectively and shape your ongoing career success.
  • Plan actions that leverage your insights
  • This half day Leadership Action Network event is a chance for you to see what’s coming up this year in the leadership development space & a great opportunity to network with other like-minded leaders.

Take some time out to focus on yourself, or better yet make it a team development experience. You'll also be making a difference to the opportunities that youths and future leaders will have access to, with all proceeds from this event going towards the JumpShift Foundation. Our mission for the JumpShift foundation is to give the young people and future leaders of New Zealand and globally (we're also based in the US and India) a leg up into the world of work, and equip them with the skills and capabilities needed to thrive in VUCA environments.

Given all the challenges we have faced as a nation over the past year, we hope you can join us for a deep dive into the past, current and future opportunities in the leadership space.

The Leadership Action Network has the following principles:

- Benefit - Every event will provide direct benefit to every individual.

- Action - We will build our success and network through doing worthwhile things not just talking.

- Accountable - We will each hold other members of the Leadership Action Network accountable to do what we say we will.
