About the presenter:

I am an Independent Author with a background in Outdoor Education.

I want to inspire you to get outdoors and to be brave to achieve your dreams.

Both of my books have been a joy to publish, with a third book on the way. These books are inspired by places I love and are proudly New Zealand made.

Sand in my Toes, Salt in my Nose was published in 2022.

“Endless sunshine, curious and carefree by the sea … This vibrantly illustrated children’s picture book evokes the magic of a kiwi summer holiday.”

I Gaze up at the Trees, With Dirt on my Knees was published in 2025.

“Abundant wildlife, adventurous and immersed in the bush.

This wonderful book fosters a love of nature and our sense of place.”

Suzy Cato says about Sandy Toes: “I love this gorgeous reminder of how such wonderfully simple things can mean so much to us, in so many ways.

Your book is wonderful and takes me back to the lazy, hazy, fun filled beach trips of my childhood.”
