Description

Beyond Performance wish to celebrate the end of the year with you, drinks and nibbles over the hot topic of the Gig Economy!

Come and share, learn and debate with your peers at our Think Tank community event where we invite like-minded professionals to debate the topic of the day.

If your team is no longer your team, how is it possible to build an organisational culture?

Call it what you will – the Gig Economy, portfolio careers or part time work, extracting value from a team that is no longer sitting in the same room, city or even country is a growing conundrum for organisations.

In this Think Tank we will discuss:

  • The importance of Deficit Based Resourcing and finding talent, or capability, wherever it exists
  • The challenge of integrating and assimilating those resources quickly into your culture and without detrimental impact when they leave
  • The need to ensure they understand the long-developed intricate aspects of our culture such as the traits, rituals, icons and behaviours that make up how we operate
  • The look and feel of an organisation with a ‘hub and spoke’ structure
  • The role of technology in bringing people together

With more and more people shunning a ‘one job, one place’ approach to work, this is becoming increasingly relevant to employees and employers everywhere. McKinsey estimates already a third of the worldwide workforce operates in the gig economy, and this is forecast to increase significantly.

We welcome you to stay for networking, drinks and nibbles after the discussion!
