BizTalk 2013 Hand on days are a community event created by Bill Chesnut from Mexia and are a follow on from the hugely successful BizTalk 2010 hands on event BizTalk Saturday . During the course of the day participants will have an opportunity to hear about the new upcoming features in the BizTalk 2013 platform and get hands on time with the product.
This year Adaptiv Integration are organising the Auckland leg in conjunction with Mexia and will be the first leg of the Australasian tour. The training will be completed utilising BizTalk 2013 images deployed on the Windows Azure platform, all that is required is your laptop, a Windows Azure subscription and a SalesForce developer account (see participant requirements below).
Cost There will be a nominal charge of $150 per ticket to cover the costs of the training venue and Bills travel costs from Melbourne for the event.
Participant Requirements IMPORTANT NOTICE PLEASE READ, these requirements must be prepared BEFORE the event on the 9th of February. Please ensure to bring all the details required on the day.

Bill Chesnut Principle Consultant Mexia
Bill Chesnut is a Principal Consultant for Mexia with 28 years of experience across multiple industries, including Government, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Logistics and Utilities. He has been involved in all aspects of BizTalk from architecture, solution design, implementation, solution development and environment support.
He is also a BizTalk Server Microsoft Valuable Professional (MVP) and a Microsoft Virtual Technology Solutions Professional (VTSP).
Bill has been involved with BizTalk and BizTalk Training since the BizTalk 2000 release and has designed, implemented and mentored on numerous BizTalk project throughout Australia and New Zealand. He has excellent communication and presentation skills and has presented at Microsoft’s TechEd conferences in Australia and New Zealand.

Nikolai is Principal Architect with Adaptiv and has been working with Microsoft Integration technologies for the past decade. Through his work with Adaptiv Integration Nikolai has had the opportunity to work across the leading edge of integration technologies and I is looking forward to sharing these experiences at the BizTalk 2013 hands on days. Through the Microsoft Virtual Technology Solutions Professional (VTSP) and Business Platform Advisor programmes Nikolai has developed a great insight into the future directions of Integration and how the upcoming innovations can be applied in the New Zealand business context. Mark Brimble Principal Integration Architect at Datacom.
Systems Integration developer with over eight years’ experience of designing, building, implementing and supporting BizTalk solutions. Experience integrating Windows, UNIX and AS400 platforms and SQL server, Oracle, Microsoft CRM, and web service technologies. Currently Principal Integration Architect at Datacom, you can read more about Mark in his recent interview with community stalwart Steef-Jan Wiggers.
Food Coffee, tea and biscuits will be supplied on the day, lunch will not be supplied as part of the event.
Terms & Conditions
Cancellations All cancellations must be received in writing by email to biztalk2013handsondays@adaptiv.co.nz . Cancellations received 3 or more working days prior to the start of this event or course will receive a full refund. Late cancellations can sometimes cause events to be abandoned. No refunds will therefore be given if a delegate withdraws, for whatever reason, within 3 working days of the start of the course. A substitute delegate however, is always acceptable.
Non Attendance No refunds will be given to delegates who fail to attend for whatever reason.
Cancellation by Organisers Where circumstances dictate, we reserves the right to alter published programmes, speakers or venues without prior notice and without liability. The organisers also reserve the right to cancel the event at any time without liability to delegates for their expenses that may have been incurred. In such circumstances delegates will be offered a full refund.
