12:00 pm Parallel Workshops Session 1

Workshop A: Breaking down gender stereotypes with inter-generational dialogues - Inviting women from different generations to discuss how to break down gender stereotypes and empower girls and women across the country. How can stereotypes be turned from a barrier into a resource? SDGs 3, 5, 10, 11, 17

Workshop B: Media training on all platforms - In an increasingly digital environment, how can women and organisations use media and digital platforms effectively and safely? SDGs 5, 9, 16, 17

Workshop C: Highlighting the power of female entrepreneurs - A panel highlighting the achievements of female entrepreneurs in New Zealand and sparking conversations on women’s economic empowerment. (SDGs 5, 8, 9, 17)

Workshop D: Bullying and harassment in the workplace - A discussion about how organisations can prevent and address bullying, abuse, harassment and discrimination in their workplaces, and the link between attracting and retaining good employees and the impact on productivity. (SDGs 3, 5, 8, 16, 17)

2:30 pm Parallel Workshops Session 3

Workshop E: Climate change and the effects in NZ - A look at why progress on climate change needs more women around the table and how including women in national and international decision-making and discussions affects outcomes. SDGs: 5, 11, 13, 15, 17

Workshop F: Assessing barriers to gender equality with a multi-sector approach - A panel discussion and networking event for women leaders to discuss gender equality in New Zealand. SDGs: 5, 10, 17
