Event description

Description

What’s happening with braided rivers and the endangered birds that depend on them?

Once again, this is a unique opportunity to spend the day learning about our amazing braided rivers and the extraordinary life that inhabits them. Presentations are short (15-20 minutes) and cover a wide range of topics. In 2017, in addition to birds, we aim to include the following topics:

  • Aquatic insects

  • Predator control

  • Monitoring

  • Weeds

  • Reptiles

  • Management strategies

The 2017 programme is yet to be finalised, however as the 2016 workshop was booked out with standing room only, we advise you book soon. The seminar is open to memebrs of the public and is FREE, however as BRaid is a charitable trust, a donation would be sincerely appreciated.
