Event description

Description

Thanks to funding from Environment Canterbury, BRaid will once again be hosting a free full-day braided rivers' seminar, where professionals, interested amateurs and volunteers in this sector come together to share their knowledge and the results of their work protecting and restoring braided river bird habitats and ecosystems over the past 2 years.

While we don't yet have a full programme in place, the programmes and presentations from the 2016 workshop and 2017 seminar will give you an idea of the format and content. Information on our website for this year's seminar , including parking, how to get to the lecture theatre, etc, will be updated once we have a draft programme in place.

We recommend you register early (lunch and afternoon tea are included) as the previous seminars and workshops were booked out and waitlisted. A great deal more focus has been placed on braided rivers and their unique ecology since our previous seminar in 2017, so we anticipate strong interest this year.

While the event is free, we are a charitable trust so donations on the day are always welcome (or you can donate anytime, really...).
