ABOUT Breast Cancer Cure Runway Show
Breast Cancer Cure has brought together some of Aotearoa’s leading fashion designers, showcasing their latest collections to raise vital funds for breast cancer research in New Zealand — all set to the live sounds of Sweet Mix Kids.
Designers include Trelise Cooper, Kathryn Wilson, Moochi, Tuesday, Hailwood, STORM, Federation & NOM*d.
Breast Cancer Cure is the only not-for-profit charitable trust in New Zealand, established exclusively to support research aimed at finding a cure for breast cancer. New Zealand Fashion Week 2025 is delighted to partner with this worthy cause, and all profits raised from this show will be donated to BCC.
The statistics are tough; breast cancer does not discriminate. It impacts individuals across all ethnicities, both males and females, spanning any age range. Shockingly, one in nine Kiwi women will face breast cancer in their lifetime. Tragically, we lose two women every day, with one woman diagnosed every three hours. Despite these harsh realities, we firmly believe that breast cancer can and should be survivable.
The positive news is that Breast Cancer Cure's support is at the HEART of progress being made to date.
Breast Cancer Cure has been at the forefront of funding impactful and innovative breast cancer research in New Zealand for over 28 years. Throughout the past three decades, their dedicated breast cancer researchers have initiated world-class projects aimed at improving outcomes for those battling this disease.
