What do disasters, journeys, and dumpsters have in common? They crystallise otherwise obscure boundaries. Professor Karen V. Fernandez has researched consumers’ relationships with their meaningful possessions within diverse contexts - from garage sales, guitars, and gold jewellery - to vapes, vinyl, and virtual communities. Join us as she discusses how culture, contamination and connection bridge boundaries between people, possessions, and places, and shape circular consumption.
