Bringing strategy alive to enhance a school community’s sense of belonging

The Ministry of Education and Springboard Trust invite you to a Zoom webinar: Bringing strategy alive to enhance a school community’s sense of belonging, presented by Esteban Drovetta and Nicola McCartney, Springboard Trust.

Based on Springboard Trust’s ‘Theory of Change’ and our ‘Impact Evaluation model’ we use a current school as an example for a PLD plan that addresses the strategic priority, ‘To live in a success culture’ where people are proud of belonging to the school, proud of themselves, and their cultural backgrounds. The PLD seeks to create the conditions for the cultural shift.

This work relates to the NELP priorities 1, 2, and 6.

To date the senior leadership team has become committed to their responsibilities in relation to the strategic priority and are stepping up to ensure it is implemented to become part of everyday life at school.

Springboard Trust is a not-for-profit impaction organisation working for Aotearoa's education sector. Employing a unique cross-sector approach to professional development, they build strategic leadership in education to transform schools together and create positive impact for students. These sessions will be relevant to teachers, leaders, principals, tumuaki, kaiako, PLD Leads, PLD facilitators, PLD provider organisations, and regional office Ministry staff.
