Phoenix Plaza in the town centre will come alive with live bands, Christmas carols, and festive favourites from 2pm. Little ones will be enchanted by roaming entertainers, while the arts and crafts market stalls offer beautiful gifts and treats from 3pm. Perfect for ticking off your Christmas list.
Then, at 5pm sharp, gather with family and friends to experience the joy of our Christmas Parade! Watch as a dazzling array of floats, entertainers, bands, dancers, and colourful characters fill the streets with festive spirit. It’s a community celebration not to be missed and the perfect way to make lasting Christmas memories.
Parade Route:The parade begins at the northern end of Beach Front Lane (Marine Centre and Police Station), loops through the town centre via Beach Front Lane, Anzac Road, Glen Road, and Bute Road, before returning to its starting point around 6pm. Find a good spot anywhere along the route to enjoy the action!
Parking & Road Closures:Please consider using public transport or carpooling. If you are driving, park outside the town centre as some streets will be closed between 2pm and 7pm. Clyde Road remains open and can be accessed via Inverness Road. There is no access from Anzac, Bute, Valley or Browns Bay Roads after 2pm.
