Buller Recovery Information Session is tomorrow!

Find out more about the science behind the Buller floods, the rainfall events, and the river modelling work that is underpinning Westport resilience planning.

Admittance to the NBS theatre for this event will commence from 5:00pm. Please arrive within plenty of time to ensure that you are seated by 5.30pm. The event will also be livestreamed via the Buller Recovery Facebook page.

One of our planned speakers for the information session, NIWA Hydrodynamics Scientist, Richard Measures, has unfortunately contracted Covid19 and will therefore not be in attendance. Fortunately Matt Gardner from Land River Sea Consulting Ltd. Has volunteered to present Richard’s information.

The session will be hosted by Bob Dickson, Recovery Manager, for the Buller Flood Recovery Team.

Please note: At the current orange light Covid status attendees are required to be masked upon entry to the venue and may remove masks when seated. Vaccine passes are not required.
