February 2018 Event 

When: Tuesday 13 February 2018 from 5:30pm (presentations start at 6:00pm).

Venue:  Lane Neave, 141 Cambridge Terrace, Christchurch

Outline of the evening:

5.30pm Networking, drinks and nibbles

6.00pm Canterbury Tech Update (David Carter) & Industry News

6.20pm Three consecutive talks

7.10pm Networking and drinks until 7.30pm

Speaker 1: Samantha Gadd, MD of Humankind. Employee Experience - what it is and how to design and execute amazing experiences to attract and retain the best people. This will include the role of technology.
Speaker 2: Marie Johnston, Director, CulturebyDesign. The importance of workplace culture for sustained success, and particularly why focussing on culture before it becomes broken or dysfunctional is such an important concept. We generally also talk about some simple things businesses can do to start growing their culture in a healthy way.
Speaker 3: Shary Vargos, MD, Vargo Lewis. "Developing Agile Team Members" What makes technical people successful in an agile environment? It is about our experience using multiple science testing and team development techniques that support the business and the people in agile work environments.


Cost: Free for Canterbury Tech members and students, $25 for non members
