Speakers:

Creatives for Climate Advisor & Co-Founder of Africa Podfest Melissa Mbugua (Nairobi) will moderate and host this session, offering her own insights and perspective from the frontlines of driving inclusive change across the creative industries in Africa.

Art Director and Creatives for Climate member Lizzie Reid (United Kingdom) will open up this session offering an honest and personal portrayal of her professional journey - critically examining a creative's role in capitalism and the climate crisis, and inviting members to offer their thoughts about similar realizations and challenges too.

She says: "We went to art school to subvert the system! So how can we use our creativity for good? In the face of the climate crisis, I want my creativity to be used for more. For justice, joy, care, imagination, community, and repair. Join me to learn how."
