Description

Case study: Victoria University’s award-winning Capital thinking. Globally minded. campaign

Victoria University of Wellington won a prestigious IABC Gold Quill Award for their innovative and provocative Capital thinking. Globally minded. campaign, earlier this year.

Designed to encourage discussion and debate, while positively positioning Victoria University in the minds of many target audiences, the internal and external communications campaign used eye catching imagery. It blended a wide range of digital channels with traditional outdoor and print media to deliver results which exceeded organisational expectations.

Capital thinking. Globally minded. reflected the passion of Victoria’s people, their performance and drive to achieve, and the world-changing impact of their research.

Join us to hear Victoria University of Wellington’s Director Communications, Marketing & Engagement Madeleine Setchell provide an overview of Capital thinking. Globally minded.

She will explain how the campaign was developed, its scope and challenges. Madeleine will talk about the impact of winning a Gold Quill and then take questions from the audience.

IABC’s Gold Quill Awards honour excellence in strategic communication worldwide. Gold Quills celebrate the dedication, innovation and passion of communicators on a global scale. Entries are evaluated against IABC’s Global Standard of excellence in communication. Winning a Gold Quill is recognition of exceptional work, innovation, creativity and success in clearly connecting communications strategy and delivery to achieving desired organisational outcomes.

Refreshments provided.
