CCG Lunch and Learn: Neuroscientific Insights into Sustainability
Fri 21 October 2016, 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM NZDT
Join us for a special presentation by Dr Paul McDonald on his award winning paper "Neuroscientific Insights into Sustainability: Challenges and Barriers". Dr McDonald will share his insights and findings from the topic and provide us with some new thinking around these complex issues.
Neuroscientific Insights into Sustainability: Challenges and Barriers
"Research in the field of neuroscience is advancing rapidly, accelerated by technological innovation in brain imaging, including: functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), magneto-encephalography (MEG), quantitative electroencephalography (qEEG) and positron emission tomography (PET). This research is producing novel insights as to how humans process information and make decisions. Recent findings have implications for humankind’s response to date to the challenges of sustainability management, in particular emerging neuroscientific evidence underscores the magnitude of these challenges."
