Based on the Japanese model on “Lesson Study”, this workshop supports in developing “Community of Mathematics Learners”. It will create discussions around
- How can collaborative planning benefit teacher practice and student learning?
- Possible models will be shared and discussed.
- How will collaborative practice on observing teacher practice improve teachers’ pedagogy?
You will collaboratively plan a lesson which includes the five practices from ‘Orchestrating Discussions’.
This workshop will be streamed by Google Hangout, however you will have to prepare the materials before hand which will require a printer.
This workshop will be run by Bina Kachwalla.
