Ceramics Introduction - Tuesday (8 week duration) Term 1 2026
Overview
This event is for Tuesday night, more information below.
The techniques will be taught assuming no prior ceramic experience; however those wishing to build on their knowledge will have the opportunity to work with the tutor at a more advanced level. Some of the skills covered include hand-building techniques, throwing on the wheel, glaze mixing and application as well as some firing techniques.
The Art School Ceramic Studio is well-equipped, providing a safe and sociable working environment. Tools are provided but if you have any clay tools bring them along. Wear old clothes, overalls or an apron and wear covered footwear. You may also want to bring an old towel that can get dirty.
Please note: You will need to bring $40 cash for your materials fee to the first class.
